I felt tears rolling....so good to see this sweet child of 12 years being able to lay fears and concerns aside to drink in this moment with a big smile of appreciation and gratitude in her heart..
Yeva has been keeping a diary everyday of her experiences since the war began…
A chilling reminder of Anne Frank, another child who kept a war diary..
Except thankfully, Yeva is getting to tell the tale and grow up to be all she wants to be in a loving and peaceful world…
But I find my tears continue to roll:
What about the - 115 Ukrainian children killed and 150 injured who should be experiencing this free life too?
That’s what keeping the Ukrainians fiercely fighting for…
