I was painting with happy, safe seniors on Sunday in a free, peaceful democratic country… While Ukrainian Grandmas are picking up rifles for the first time in their lives… To defend their beloved country, freedom and democracy … on our behalfs!?! I felt the repulsion in just painting this weapon of destruction… I can’t imagine what it is like for these peace loving Grandmas to have to handle one… The dilemma of having to shoot at a Russian Grandma’s grandson … is traumatic and tragic 🇺🇦❤️🙏🏽
