Testing out my little thumbnail box to see if I would like to use it for my future travels...
Needed shade and the only place was in the car... 😆
By the time I get back from my little trip, these tulips would be gone...

Astounding Azaleas....

Someone said during my distress centre shift as a volunteer:
‘I wasn’t lying.. it’s just that I didn’t know what the truth was…’
She was not being facetious , in actual fact, was being sincere & honest…

I wondered how this statement could be applicable somewhere else as well..

Here I was going to tell you I painted rhododendrons but in actual fact, they were azaleas..
I wasn’t lying.. just that I didn’t know the truth … 😅
This is a benign example how I can use this statement…
I will use it another time to my advantage 😁
Saw these little girls dressed in pretty pink frocks to match the pretty flowers…
May all children emerge from the horrors of war and frolic freely in the loving presence of nature…🙏🏽🌻💙💛🕊

Might have to tame the blossoms a bit in my painting …😆
May parks and profusely blooming trees replace the devastation wrought by the ravages of war by Putin..

Had painted a study of this white flowering tree..
Then wanted to paint it in all its glory in its natural setting..
Trees communicate with trees…
Humans have to learn to do the same… 😂

Breaks my heart to see that Spring has arrived in Ukraine…
But the beauty of spring flowers is a stark contrast to the mangled mess left by the ravages of war…
May peace return to replace greed 🙏🏽💙💛🇺🇦🌻

White Flowering Tree...

Study of a white prolific flowering tree…
It is good to know that the injured Ukrainian soldiers have been transferred out of the steel plant to get medical attention even if from the Russian side…
Hopefully it is all done with honest attention to the soldiers’ needs…
Not laced with any other sinister outcomes…
Kudos to the skilful negotiators who helped answer their loved ones’ prayers…
May the long suffering soldiers find sweet relief…
May the Russian medical team offer the best medical help in total neutrality 🙏🏼🕊💛💙🇺🇦

Since I was comfortably set up at the edge of a trillium patch…
Decided to have another go at it…
Seem to paint more abundantly than there are actual blooms 😆

Appreciating all the blooms I do see…
As it takes 7-10 years for a plant to mature enough to bloom

Being very careful not to step on any..😊☀️💙💛

Hoping to find some red ones too…
But I have just learnt they come in light pink as well as yellow…

In case there was some Moms who didn’t have anyone to celebrate with for whatever reason..
Only one senior attended…
Whom I was so pleased and grateful to paint with..
It was nice to see the driveway busy with children picking up and returning their Moms after a day of fun celebration…
