Day 1 Adirondacks Invitational plein air event..
Arrived earlier abd did a painting before evening orientation..
Was feeling proud of myself for having driven for the first time for 7 hrs by my little self across the US border..
Relishing feet on the ground feeling the wind playing with my hair..
My eyes resting on placid waters…
Making sure I don’t inadvertently roll over the edge 😆

Was supposed to be packing for a trip…
But had to squeeze a painting in…
For these would be all gone by the time I get back… 😆
A trip for leisure and for pleasure…
Not one to run from war…
So good to hear that many Ukrainians have landed in Canada…
May they be able to let their guard down and smile with the flowers..
