​I liked this particular angle of the gazebo
Which meant standing nearby to a fairly busy road intersection 
I got a few passing cars' feedbacks on my painting.. lol
One lady yelled out to me for a card
Which I had to rush to her before the lights changed...

So much for a quiet day under the shade in the park
I loved and felt blessed with all the interactions I had.. ^_^

4 hours to create a painting on location within a boundary
This church provides services like meals, clothing, shower facilities to many homeless people
Quite a few of them came over to see what I was painting..
A smiling Sheila with broad strides had been a client 15 years ago
She had been widowed sudddenly with three little children 
The church gave her meals and a place to have some human contact
The floor needed sweeping one day
And Sheila volunteered...
She was handed $10 for the hour she would have worked for free
"You mean there is a position open for an hour's work everyday for 5-6 days a week?"
Sheila remembered how excited she was to get an extra $50-$60 per week
She's now been promoted to manager of the homeless program 
And still volunteers many hours
I can just see her oozing with gratitude 
"There are no thieves and angry, hungry people on the street therefore.. "
And I was grateful for the friendly, gentle, streets people who came to talk to me..
They were generous with their compliments and they were free to share their stories
I was never too busy for that..
Never too busy to be touched by their humanity... ❤️
