This is the cliff right beside the beach I painted ORCHESTRA BY THE LAKE and ABANDONED BEAUTY. ...At times, I slide down the path in the cliff to get to the beach instead of walking all the way down the more gentle slope to the other side...Can you see my skid marks on the trail?

Remember how refreshing to have a dip in the lake before going to bed... VIEW OF THE OAKVILLE CLUB. Oil on 11x14 Wood Panel.
I ventured to the east side of the Oakville Harbour to paint this 1854 granary that is the house of The Oakville Club just as the sun was beginning to set...very tranquil except I had to be careful not to step on geese poop everywhere...LOL I am so drawn to this Georgian-style Benares Historic House maintained by the City of Mississauga for the public's enjoyment. It is surrounded by tall trees and bush, some of which I have cut down so you can see the house in this painting. Don't you just love this style with all its architectural details....
