Sketchwalks as led by Rob on 15th July
We walked from landmark to landmark around Old Town Toronto...
I felt myself being emotional a couple of times upon hearing Rob describe the beauty of the architecture..
Pointing out features that would otherwise just pass me by unnoticed and unappreciated...
The genius and efforts of creative minds who came before us to conceive and bring into reality in the form of buildings with clever, esthetic details and functionality...
All I could do was to make some feeble attempts at some sketching to digest the awe of it all..
Get this: Rob is not even from Toronto, an architect from New York, read and researched the week before and spilled and shared it all conveying his emotive appreciation for Old Town Toronto
Me: " How do you remember all this when you have only just read this the week before?"
Rob: " Notice I did not mention any dates?" Good thing you didn't provide dates..we had enough information as it was... 😂
