Peggy's Garden

Peggy's garden is immaculate
Weeds are totally under control
You and I know what a struggle that is
To keep them constantly at bay
Grass is well manicured
And flowers are smiling with one another

But in a painting and with my admittedly unruly nature
I've painted the grass longer and uncut near the edges
And flowers proliferating and partying wildly with one another


Thought I would make this clear
For I didn't want Peggy to be horrified
When the garden she and her husband work so hard 
Looks so beautifully serene and in order
I've painted it to look  more wild and untame... :)
