ABANDONED BEAUTY Oil on 11" x 14" Wood Panel Plein Air
OIL ON 11"x 14" WOOD PANEL.
I made a trek behind some houses down a slope through a woodsy area to get to see the back of this, what looked to me like an abandoned house. Not easy when you're carrying an easel and paints and a flask and lunch. But once I was there, I set myself up on the mud flat to paint this, what must have once been a very grand looking house. Please to tell you that they have recently started renovations to bring this neglected beauty back to life.
