VIA train incident...

Travelling by VIA train from Montreal to Ottawa..
A well over 6ft man started to romp about in between seats of waiting passengers ...
Chanting a song in tune to his stomping feet...
Not a bad voice actually..even enjoyed his singing at first..
"A free, unabashed spirit, how kool is that.." I had thought
But was told to sit down as he was disturbing peace in a public place..
His words turned non-family friendly..
He chose to loom large over this petite lady sitting in front of me, repeating his song to her..
To her credit, she tried to look unfazed..
A couple of warnings went unheeded...
Finally police came to escort him out..
"Will I get a refund?"
"Yes, you definitely will not be getting on the train today! "
"Oh Good!" and willingly left the station..
Q someone asked: Was that his plan all along? Just to get a refund because he changed his mind about travelling on this day anyways? 😆
Not sure if it was worth all that trouble.😂
But hey! He looked like he had fun! 😆

Bank of Montreal as home...

Made a quick 15 mins sketch before a memorial service at a former Bank of Montreal..
Now the residence of the host of this event for his old longtime buddy.. .
So many touching tributes to a gentleman so well loved by his family and friends..
Hearts may ache but they smile alongside the memories made...
A few sketches of people who told stories, some amusing, many inspiring to be ever kind and gracious like he was...
A couple of people who sat around me said they will try to pick up sketching again..
Thought I was discreet but guess not..😁
Gosh, that building is so beautiful..imagine living in a former bank!
The owner, a professor of architecture at McGill, obviously thought so too! 😊 🌻 🇺🇦
